Finally after 2 years of planning and financing we will be opening in the late Spring/Summer of 2013... We will be a full service 8000 sq. ft. state of the art veterinary hospital. We will be located at 966 N. 2nd Street directly across from the Piazza. The hospital design will reflect the neighborhood theme. We have extensive experience in medical, dental and surgical services for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and small mammals. We will offer extensive hours to provide as much coverage as possible with 24 hour coverage in the not so far future. Our diagnostic capabilities will include and not be limited to ultrasound, endoscopy, digital imaging and a full in house laboratory. We will provide routine as well as non-routine surgical services. We expect to bring in board certified veterinary specialists such as a dermatologist, cardiologist, radiologist and surgeon to care for the more challenging cases. The hospital will also be equipped to handle critical care cases including hospitalization.
On the first floor will be our client services welcome station and a comfortable and aesthetic waiting area. We will have 5 exam rooms and a comfort room. We will have a large treatment area servicing the examination rooms as well as a full pharmacy and lab. On the second level will be our surgical suite, digital radiology suite, special studies suite and large treatment stations. We will also have 4 fully equipped dental stations with digital dental x-ray equipment. There will be separate sound proof hospitalization areas for dogs, cats and other types of pets. There will also be an isolation room for contagious pets. Nurse’s stations will oversee all hospitalized and surgical cases. A large doctor's room will oversee the entire floor. There will also be an outdoor enclosed exercise area for dogs.
Most important we will provide compassionate care for all pets and strive to provide nothing short of outstanding client and community services. We understand pets are family and you and your pets will be treated as such. We are excited to finally have a green light. We have been planning this since 2010
