Shooting 700 block N. 3rd Street

Any additional information on the shooting on the 700 block of N. 3rd Street this evening? One woman dead - I am very concerned about who it might be.

CBS News reported a transgendered male in his 40s in critical condition and an older female in her 60s deceased.

60 year old woman fatally shot in the chest.

40s transgender individual wounded, shot in the face.

Shootings took place inside the residence. No forced entry.

Initial indications are that it was not a random/stranger incident.

A terrible tragedy.

So there is a crazed murderer is STILL running around with a gun and no description is given despite numerous witnesses?

What the hell is up with that? Why do the police treat us like retards?

It's obvious who it is, but they aren't naming the family yet, so I won't either. It is such a tragedy, and obviously not a random murder. More like a hate crime.

Numerous witnesses and a crazed armed murderer *still* on the loose and we still cannot get a simple description or basic sketch of the suspect other than it's "a male"? Are the police truly that incompetant or is it yet another case of political correctness ? Completely unacceptable to keep the public in the dark about this.

No arrests yet. Hopefully the young lady will wake up and be able to explain what happened. This is a shocking tragedy, but as someone who has worked in Philadelphia Homicide Court. Let me just say that 90% of murders are not random.

Still no news on this? It is a little scary that there is a killer on the loose. Some of the articles mention witnesses. These people have not been able to give a description?

This article from the PGN has a little more info, like the name of the woman who was killed. Still no description of the shooter. Strange for an incident with multiple witnesses. The police must have a reason for not releasing a description of the perp?

From what I've heard:
1) The shooter knew the victim(s). They apparently met at some sort of establishment earlier that day/night and that somehow led to what happened in the house.
2) This is purely conjecture, though it sounds like police aren't releasing details on the suspect because it's fairly clear who it is and where they need to find him.

I'm guessing we'll hear more on this in the coming days/week or two, hopefully when there's an arrest.
