Cameras on American St.?

Hi all,

My roommmate and I were robbed at gunpoint at 9:00 Friday night on the 900 block of American St. Does anyone know if there are any cameras around that area? The guys went south on American, and we're not sure if they turned on Poplar or not. We filed a police report, and the detective asked us if there were any cameras in the area but we didn't know.

Any help will be appreciated.

Yikes ! Glad you guys are okay. Is just awful to hear about this. NL Townwatch has a list of all private residences that own cameras so I am sure they will see this post and respond.

The NLBOA along with the PTSSD were trying to start a camera pilot program where cameras were to be placed in certain parts of the neighborhoods but do not know where that stands. I know American and Poplar was one of those intersections being discussed and would have obviously been perfect for this type of security. Does anyone know where that program stands ?

Where the green circle is I've noticed a camera posted up there. So if they did cross poplar, you get the rest...
