proposed batting cages at 6th and girard (north side)

this project is technically in kensington, but it's right on the "border," so it's relevant to those who live in that part of NL. i was checking my junk email and saw that last night there was a (south kensington) community zoning meeting for batting cages at 529 girard ave (across the street from haussmann's rx). did anyone who lives around there go? i'm interested in seeing how they renovate that building (i'm assuming they aren't tearing it down?).

Which building is 529? Seems like there's that tax place, Silver Dollar store and the scratch and dent appliance place on that block...

it's the big white building on the corner with cash 4 gold signs. the scratch and dent appliances place is part of the same building, too.
