anyone missing a cat? (white w/black spots)

Postby carpetbagger » Wed Sep 12, 2012 8:45 am

affectionate cat hanging around cambridge + orianna. there are a couple usual outside cats/random strays that hang out around orianna and galloway, but i don't recognize this one. i gave it some food, now it won't leave. mostly white with a black tail and black splotches. no collar, thin, green eyes, a small cut/scab behind one of its ears.

i think so! we put a box and some water out last night, and the cat was napping in the box, but when we came back from dinner a few hours later he was gone. haven't seen him at all this morning, either. if he was still around today, i was going to call chic petique, paws, etc to see if they would take him. poor guy, either he's lost or his previous owner dumped him.

He's a real sweetheart. I've seen him on 4th just north of George a lot recently (though not since your post), and occasionally on the eastern side of Liberty Lands. At some point in the last couple of weeks I saw him wearing a collar and was hoping someone took him in...

That cat is/was a stray which was living around Liberty Lands. A nice family took him in for some months, but were unable to keep him inside. I believe he was not getting along with other cats or was not litter training. I think they are trying to keep him as an outdoor cat after unsuccessfully looking for another home for him.

If anyone is interested in trying to bring him in and give him another chance, I am pretty sure the family would be thrilled for him.

I met another very nice stray on George between 5th and 4th last week. A skinny young unneutered male orange tabby. He was super friendly. I don't know what his story is, but he really needs to be neutered and taken in.
