Gunshots at 1:39am?

Curious if anyone else heard about a dozen pops at 1:39am. Gunshots or firecrackers?

I think I may have heard that as well, though I'm in Fishtown. There were some loud bangs - probably 5 or 6 of them some time between 1AM and 2AM. Odd sounds for that time of night - didn't sound like fire works and didn't really sound like gun shots either. *shrug*

Oh yeah, sounded like a dozen gunshots to me, coming from the direction of Liberties West?

Yep - we heard them - there was a series of 5-6 and then a little pause and then another series of several in a row. We're close to Girard and 5th and the gunshots sounded like they were coming from southwest of us (so possibly Liberties West area)... I hope everyone is OK

We heard 2 last night around 12:30. Sounded like same area as the night before. Anyone else hear it?

To clarify, this is two nights in a row in the same area. But not many care since gun shot in this are do not affect real estate agents or people who think Northern Liberties stops at N. 3rd.

I heard them too, but they came a bit further east than Libs West (7th and Fairmount--my window faces the 7th street side). I'd place them closer to Marshall or 6th street, where the shopping complex is (with the Dollar General). I didn't call 911; in hindsight, I should have, but I woke up in time to hear the shots, mumbled something angry, and went back to bed.
