Saw the posts about the Rib Cook-off, but nothing about a possible Music Fest/Flea Market. In years past it seems like there is always one in June then another in Sept. Anyone got any info? No biggie, just wondering.

the PZA is having another 104.5 crapfest on 9/8. from their website:

4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Radio 104.5 Block Party

For the third year in a row Radio 104.5 is hitting The Piazza at Schmidt's in Northern Liberties for The Summer Block Party Series! Still FREE, still awesome! All thanks to Miller Lite, Vitamin Water, Sun East Federal Credit Union, Mazda, The Ski Bum, and Vita Coco for making it happen!

WHO? All of you - All Ages!
WHAT? FREE concerts every month.
WHEN? 4-7pm

Performers are to be determined. Check back soon for more info!

According to the NLNA website, there will be a music fest on Sept 8. Here's the line-up:

Music Fest 4:30-10:00pm
The Line Up:

4:30 – The Art Fischman Jazz Quartet
5:15 – Jacob Waters
6:00 – 56 Men
6:45 – Chalk and the Beige Americans
7:30 – Astronaut Your Country
8:15 – The Really Cooks
9:00 – St. James and the Apostles

Two music events running at the same time in Northern Liberties? Ugh. Good luck hearing any small band playing in Liberty Lands. I can always hear the 104.5 shows across the neighborhood. I'll be sure to stay out of the neighborhood that day. I'd be all for checking out the small music fest if the bigger one (and the one that's more of a shit show) wasn't going on at the same time.

Plus the whyy connections fest at penns landing and there's also the Made in America deal at the museum. Pretty cool day if you're in to music.

That Saturday is shaping up to be awesome in liberty lands......piazza not so much, hopefully all of the people from jersey and DE for the 104.5 crapfest don't find their way over.....
