(The fence behind the SWAT team looks like Kearny school to me.)

CBS Philly says N 7th & N Marshall--which don't intersect.

The shooting happened at about 1 a.m. at N. 7th and N. Marshall Streets in North Philadelphia.

According to investigators, an unknown suspect shot a 19-year-old male three times. The victim was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

I was looking outside the window too (I live in the complex there). I saw about eight or so people running around after the shots went off, but oddly enough they didn't appear too worried about being shot.

This happens every couple months or so (since I've lived in LibsWest, almost 8 years), which is a shame. I really do like the neighborhood.

Can someone please make a comment that will make us all feel better about living in this neighborhood thereby rallying community support and thus preventing a fall in real estate prices?

"preventing a fall in real estate prices" it happened on the other side of 6th st. NL's real estate price won't be effected

Thanks. I just remembered that we have great shops, restaurants, and bars which more than make up for the frequent murders in the neighborhood. Oh, I also remembered that this is life in the city and if I don't like it I should go back to the suburbs - even though I grew up in the city. OK. Everything is good now. Carry on.
